outerpeace writes... If australia post was doing what they are paid for they would know where you moved to. This is why they aren't getting a pay rise. It was probably more to do with not updating the address in the auction site (happens all the time) after your redirect is turned off by Australia post they can't be expected to be mind readers |

The J Man writes... and yet they expect a payrise! That's the problem with liberals, they think they all deserve a payrise because they think what they do is the most important thing in the world. Others on the other hand have to work their guts out for a payrise |

MrMagOO2u2 writes... Fuck this. I have to go to my local post office which is a tiny one which doubles as a chemist and may or may not be open then ring my OLD post office and see if they can "hold" the parcel for me. Which means I have to go for a 3 hour drive to pick the bastard up. |

Johnny Bravo writes... how long before a registered post tracking number is available on the AP site: I have experience with this LOL at another forum. Yes as soon as it's scanned as registered, it's in the system. (provided you are given the right number) |

I stuffed up last christmas with AusPost. Sent an xmas present to the wrong address in South Australia, the suburb was right but the street number was wrong, (in fact the street number didnt exist). I tried to find a phone number for the destination post office but couldnt find it, just the 'head office' post office number, but I did find the destination PO fax number. I sent a copy of the receipt from my PO, along with a fax to the Post Master at the destination post office explaining that; - I stuffed up with the address - that it was an xmas present - that if they returned it to me I would just resend it with the correct address as soon as it arrived back here - the recipient would be upset that there wasnt a present under the xmas tree on xmas morning from me - could they hold it at the PO and could she pick it up from the PO if I sent her a copy of my receipt from AusPost and showed identification. I did lay it on thick LOL and did wish him a happy xmas etc. She went to the PO the next day with a copy of the fax I sent to Auspost plus a copy of my receipt and they gave her the present. So that AusPost postmaster did do the 'right thing' by us. If you can get as much detail as possible and if you can eventually get in contact with the sender hopefully you can have a good outcome too. |

Brayden writes... Well, at least you have a chance of getting it. Yup. A Chance in HELL. I might just do what Synnie did, lay it on thick at the P.O. up the road, they know Immy (they know all of us!) and the lady might be able to do something. |

mandyj writes... I'm in tears here! You're in tears and sticking your finger up at the world at the same time? Perhaps you have attracted what you put out? Plant bad seeds and expect a bad harvest You can't expect things to go well for you with that bad attitude + you are taking the Lord's name in vain under your pic. That won't win you many friends either and that won't get you a blessed life. Now on a good note |

That won't win you many friends either and that won't get you a blessed life. Aren't YOU Lucky you weren't in my local post office today when I asked them - PLEADED with them for SOME sort of help, a phone number to call, a department to speak to. Nope nothing they can do it's gone. The Westies have it now. Thanks for coming. Post office was pretty packed, it's also a chemist, I called them all a bunch of retarded cunts who couldn't run a business if their lives depended on it, plus a couple of other choice....shit. Why don't you get your sad little life fixed up and fuck the hell out of MY on topic thread you cunt. The fucking "LORD" has no fucking bearing on whether or not my daughter gets her doll at Christmas, FFS he's making half the world starve isn't he? Do you think the little brown children are getting nice baby dolls for there Christmas? No. On the other hand my ex post office actually REMEMBERED me from a PHONE call and is having the delivery man have a lookout for the package for me, he also remembers me. If the Westies don't sign for it he'll bring it back to the branch and they will give me a call. If they do sign for it, they get fined a shitload of money and they'll have to move out of their nice safe gated community. |

Syntax writes... fingers crossed Yup, going to send the new renters a letter - express post - to ask them to make sure the parcel gets back to the local PO so I can pick it up. Do a sob story about how my little girl won't have a pressie under the tree if I don't get it in time, and some such. |

mandyj writes... fuck the hell out of MY on topic thread you cunt. You are like a little baby. Throwing a tantrum as soon as things don't go your way. Your problem is that you have never grown up, you still act like a baby. And now for a change of tone... Was it sent by express post or registered post? If so, put the code number into this web link and tell me what it says: www.auspost.com.au/track/ If not, how was it sent? Regular mail that cannot be traced? If so, what is the destination and what is the closest AU post office to that location? Name, then we can find their phone number.. Then we can call them at the post office and ask them to return to sender. THEY WILL DO IT IF ASKED PROPERLY AND IF YOU SPEAK TO THE RIGHT PERSON. BUT THEY WONT HELP YOU WHEN YOU ACT LIKE A BABY AND THROWING A CHILDISH TANTRUM AND SWEARING AND ABUSING! So which is it? |

Article ID/Barcode Number search: ############ No records match the Search Criteria And I know she (the seller) gave me the right tracking number because I phoned her and threatened to stop payment on paypal. The woman at the old PO was helpful and said that sometimes they don't scan the number in until they finish sorting or even after delivery, because they are busy or because of the time of day the parcel goes in. At least she was honest. The Post office lady. |
